CC.Talent is looking for a skilled Content Copyright Editor to join our team, responsible for refining and enhancing written content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, a strong grasp of grammar and syntax, and experience working with a variety of content types.

Responsibilities
Edit and proofread in-house books, manuscripts, reports, and content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and consistency.
Ensure writing follows brand tone, voice, and style guidelines.
Identify and correct structural and logical issues within content.
Collaborate with authors, content creators, and other team members to clarify meaning and enhance readability.
Review and format documents for print or digital publication.
Provide feedback and suggestions to improve writing quality and effectiveness.
Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Job requirements
Proven experience in editing, proofreading, or publishing
Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and syntax
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracyFamiliarity with editorial style guides (e.g., APA, Chicago Manual of Style, etc.)
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or other editing software
Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
Amenable to work a morning shift aligned with Australian (QLD) time
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with self-published authors or internal corporate publications.
Knowledge of formatting for both print and e-books.
Ability to handle confidential or sensitive content discreetly
