Mobile Development Tech Lead

CC.Talent is seeking a Mobile Development Tech Lead responsible for developing and maintaining software development kits (SDKs) to enable seamless integration of our products and services. Your focus will be on creating user-friendly, well-documented SDKs that support various platforms and programming languages. This role requires a solid understanding of software development, API design, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet both developer and customer needs. Your contributions will be instrumental in enhancing the overall user experience.

Client Details

Our client is a rapidly growing Series A funded fintech company in the payment industry. They are expanding their operations by launching an engineering hub in Southeast Asia and have chosen us as their trusted partner to make it happen.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining mobile SDKs for iOS and Android platforms.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to align the mobile SDKs with product requirements and vision.

• Create and maintain technical specifications, architecture, and design documentation for mobile SDKs.

• Work with API development teams and UI/UX teams to ensure seamless integration with our APIs and Widgets.

• Stay informed of the latest trends and advancements in mobile app development and SDK technologies, offering insights and recommendations.

• Ensure mobile SDKs are scalable, maintainable, and performant.

• Implement automated testing and CI/CD processes for mobile SDKs.

• Troubleshoot and provide technical support to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Establish and maintain toolsets and processes for ongoing mobile SDK development.

• Be available to promptly respond to issues, calls, and system-related matters, working closely with other teams to resolve challenges efficiently.

Qualifications

• Requirements (Must-Have Skills)

  • Strong experience in mobile app development with a focus on SDK development for iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java).

  • Deep understanding of mobile architectures, design patterns, and best practices.

  • Proficiency in integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Experience in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code with proper documentation.

  • Familiarity with security best practices related to mobile SDK development.

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in fintech or payment-related projects.

  • Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.

  • Prior experience leading a team of mentoring junior developers.

  • Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native.

• Open to an in-office requirement, starting with 4 days per week for the first 3 months during onboarding, transitioning to a hybrid model of 2 days per week in-office.
