The Role

CodingChiefs is on the lookout for a driven Senior Technical Recruiter who collaborates with the rest of the recruitment team in creating a positive experience for candidates and hiring teams throughout the recruiting process. The successful hire will be a part of a small team of recruiters and will be in charge of recruiting, screening, interviewing, and placing potential hires.

This role requires the consistent drive and passion that comes with supporting a growing start-up. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and have strong interpersonal, listening, and speaking skills. A strong background in sourcing through various channels would be a huge advantage.


The Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to source the best talent.

  • Provide recruiting solutions to complex staffing issues.

  • Creating robust search strategies that will identify and attract the best and brightest

  • Developing innovative ways to raise the bar on how CodingChiefs recruits talent.

  • Developing those prospects into candidates, engaging them, and performing assessment/screening

  • Continually contributing to the knowledge base of the Recruiting Team by providing education on relevant trends in Recruitment, IT, and talent pools/profiles

  • Conducting interviews/negotiating employment offers on behalf of CodingChiefs.

  • Serving as talent advisors by partnering with hiring executives to calibrate talent and providing strategic guidance/advice.

  • Serve as a mentor to the rest of the recruiting team through leading by example, sharing best practices, and being a resource for questions and guidance

  • Stay connected to the competitive landscape, including trends in recruiting and compensation

  • Ensure that the teams maintain a high level of data integrity with our ATS and other people systems

Job requirements

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has at least 5 years of experience in IT recruitment

  • Proven expertise in the following areas:
    • recruiting and filling complex technical positions

    • delivering excellent candidate experience

    • managing candidate tracking systems

    • building relationships with managers and colleagues 

    • reporting and recording information into various systems, using Google Workspace Applications and Slack

    • sourcing, shortlisting, and assessing leads

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
