Position Overview:
A results-driven 
Telemarketer/Sales Development Representative (SDR) who excels at generating leads, engaging potential customers, and promoting cost-effective energy solutions. This role is responsible for outbound calls, qualifying prospects, and setting appointments with businesses looking to optimize their power expenses. Strong communication skills, a persuasive approach, and solid sales techniques drive success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls to potential clients and businesses, focusing on SMEs in South Australia.

  • Ask probing questions to assess client needs, including:

    • Verify if the client has an ABN registry.

    • Confirm if the client uses power from 9 am to 5 pm.

    • Determine if the client is currently overpaying for power.

  • Present opportunities for the client to save money on their current power expenses.

  • Educate prospects on energy-saving opportunities and available services.

  • Qualify leads and schedule appointments for the sales team.

  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow-ups in the CRM system.

  • Meet or exceed call and conversion targets.

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in telemarketing, sales, or customer service in the Australian market.

  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.

  • Ability to handle objections and turn leads into opportunities.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.

  • Track lead status and engagement levels in the CRM system.

Performance Optimization & Growth (Beyond Month 3):

  • Analyze call data, refine outreach strategies, and improve conversion rates.

  • Expand outreach to additional business sectors within South Australia.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to refine messaging based on customer feedback.

  • Implement a continuous improvement plan for sales efficiency.
